Made for ARMY worldwide

The BTS 'Arirang' Tour European leg runs across four cities over the summer. The confirmed dates are: Madrid (Jun 26–27), London (Jul 6–7), Munich (Jul 11–12), and Paris (Jul 17–18). Specific venue names have not been independently confirmed — check Weverse and official BTS channels for the exact locations before booking travel.

Travelling between cities is one of the most practical planning decisions for multi-stop ARMY. The London–Paris leg is well-served by the Eurostar high-speed rail service through the Channel Tunnel, connecting London St Pancras International to Paris Gare du Nord in around two to two-and-a-half hours. For other city pairs, budget airlines and international rail options are worth comparing on price and journey time.

Entry requirements across the four cities split into two zones. Madrid, Munich, and Paris are all inside the Schengen Area, meaning a single Schengen visa or visa-free access covers all three. London is outside Schengen and requires a separate UK entry clearance — travellers from many countries need an Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) in addition to a valid passport. Plan the visa side early, particularly if London falls mid-trip.

Each city has its own transit system. London's Oyster card (or a contactless bank card) covers the Underground, buses, and Overground. In Paris, a Navigo Easy card or a weekly Navigo Découverte pass covers the Metro, RER, and buses across zones. Madrid's Metro uses a rechargeable Multi card, and Munich's MVV network offers day and multi-day passes useful for concert travel.

Currency and connectivity vary by city. Madrid, Munich, and Paris use the euro (€); London uses pound sterling (£). Carrying both currencies — or using a fee-free card — simplifies the UK leg. For mobile data, an EU/UK eSIM activated before departure is a practical choice: many eSIM providers offer plans that bundle EU roaming and a separate UK data allowance. Activating the eSIM before leaving home avoids airport queues.

General city highlights worth knowing: Madrid's city centre is walkable and the Metro runs late; London has major concert-adjacent transport hubs depending on venue; Munich's S-Bahn and U-Bahn connect efficiently from the city centre; Paris' RER B links CDG airport directly to the centre and concert zones.

Ch.1 City-to-city

  • London↔Paris by Eurostar (2h15m). Cheapest: book early (up to 330 days) on eurostar.com; arrive 60–90 min early for border control.
  • Madrid↔Paris is far cheaper by air (~2h, budget from €25). Paris↔Munich: compare flights vs ICE (~5h20m).
  • London is outside Schengen → a UK ETA is required (£16, £20 from 2026-04-08, valid 2 yrs). Apply online before you fly.

Ch.2 City transit passes

  • London needs no pass — the contactless daily cap £8.90 (Zone 1–2) auto-applies the cheapest fare.
  • Paris Navigo weekly €32.40 (or Navigo Easy carnet of 10 for €17.35).
  • Munich 1-day (Zone M) €9.70 · Madrid Metrobús 10-trip €12.20 (or tourist pass €10/day).

Ch.3 Practical tips

  • One EU+UK eSIM covers all four cities → install at home, it activates on arrival (Airalo ~€16/10GB).
  • Airport→city cheaply: Paris CDG RER B €14, London Elizabeth line £15.50, Munich S-Bahn €14.30, Madrid metro + €3 airport supplement.
  • Always pay in local currency (€/£) to avoid DCC markups; use a no-FX-fee card (Wise/Revolut).
